Have you ever wondered where the phrase; “Someone’s not a happy camper” came from?

Some say the phrase “I’m not a happy camper” actually came from an episode of the 80′s sitcom Silver Spoons, where Ricky goes camping with his Grandfather.

If you are tired of being stuck inside your house during the winter months, get ready for another challenging summer in the sun at Canal Lake Bible Camp.

This years theme is “Happy Camper” because “Happy are the people whose God is the Lord.” Psalm 144:15

Someone has said, “God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied (happy) in Him.” Even though things don’t always go our way and there are plenty of things to whine about; when we find our joy in a relationship with God; it
makes us a happy camper at camp and in life.

So register with your friends for another great summer of fun and learning about how to be happy in a relationship with God.

Note: Canal Lake Bible Camp (CLBC) is offering “FREE CAMP” again this year. For planning purposes we’ve added a non-refundable registration fee of $10 (discounted for early registration) that may be applied to optional activities after
camper check-in. Please note: After June 15, 2012, the registration fee will be $20.

Please be aware that registration will be based on the grade your camper will be entering in the fall and not their age. Below are the camper weeks

2012 Camp weeks:

July 9-13…………..9th grade- 18 years old
July 16-20………….6th- 8th grade
July 23 -27…………3rd-5th grade
July 30 – Aug.1……K- 2nd grade

Click here to register for this year’s CLBC!
