We are so excited that you want to serve at Canal Lake Bible Camp this year! In order to serve at CLBC, you will need to be:
1. ELEMENTARY–At least 15 years of age on or before September 1st.
2. MIDDLE–At least 16 years of age on or before September 1st.
3. HIGH–At least 18 TURNING 19 on or before September 1st.
Have graduated AND been out of high school for one year.
* If you graduated early, you will still need to be turning 19 on or before Sept. 1 of the camp year.
4. Students must have been a camper at CLBC before.
5. Be available for training. (Student counselors will need to attend training, adults attend an orientation/prayer time.)
Here’s how to get started:
1. Fill out an application and submit it to Peter Kough or Beau Kelley in person, at the church office in the CLBC mailbox or email us at info@canallakebiblecamp.com
2. Make sure you sign the Statement of Faith, Standards of Conduct and Expectations, and fill out the Criminal History and Screening forms!
3. Wait to be contacted for an interview.
Counselor Application Form – Required for All Overnight Counselors AND students under 20.
Criminal History Consent Form – Required for all new counselors 18+ and every 2 years for returning counselors
Volunteer Screening Form – Required for all new counselors.
Please note: While all applications are welcomed and considered, preference is given to members of the House of Prayer Church.
